SEO Agency in Miami
for the searches that are not your brand name
August does search engine optimization for companies in Miami, Buenos Aires and Madrid — technical work, the pages themselves, and the Google listing behind local searches. We report it without your brand name in the numbers, which makes the figure smaller and makes it mean something.
01 — Diagnosis
Why the traffic went up and nothing changed
Four problems show up in almost every site handed to us, and none of them are fixed by publishing more. Three are problems of measurement and one is a problem of a page trying to be two pages — which is why a year of blog posts rarely moves any of them.
The report counts people who already knew you
Organic traffic includes everyone who typed your company name into Google instead of into the address bar. Those visits belong to whatever made them hear about you — a campaign, a referral, a van with your logo on it — not to SEO. When they are left inside the total, the chart goes up during every month you advertise and nobody can tell what the search work actually produced. Separating them is the first thing we do and it almost always makes the number look worse.
First place, and not one visit
A page can sit in position one for hundreds of searches a month and receive nothing. That is not a ranking problem, and more links will not fix it: the title and the description are answering a different question than the one being asked. The usual shape is a page written as a guide winning a search that wanted a business, with no city and no service in the title to tell the reader they are in the right place. Two fields, reversible, and the cheapest result available.
Every service crammed into one page
Sites built as a single scrolling page end up with twenty words per service and one title that has to sell all of them. Google has one document to rank and no idea which search it answers, so it ranks it for none of them well. The fix is not more words on that page — it is a page per service with its own URL, its own title and its own reason to exist, and the internal links that tell Google which is which.
Google is ranking a page you forgot about
Terms of service, a staging copy, an old campaign landing, a tag archive: pages nobody maintains get indexed and then start answering searches the real page should be answering, including searches for the company name. It looks like a small technical detail and it is not — it means the visit that was yours landed on a document with nothing to click. Finding which URL answers which search is the part of the audit that produces the most work.
02 — Método
How we work
Three stages, in this order. The first is a deliverable on its own: if you stop after the audit you still leave with a written baseline of where you stand without your brand name, which is the one document nobody can produce for you later.
01
Audit and non-branded baseline
We read what the site actually serves — not what the CMS claims — and we read your Search Console with your brand name filtered out. What comes back: which searches you appear in and do not get clicked, which URL is answering which search and whether it is the right one, what is indexed that should not be, and the position you hold today on the terms worth holding. That baseline is the thing every later report is compared against, so it gets written before anything is touched.
02
Fix, then build
In that order, because fixing is faster and cheaper. First the pages that already rank: titles and descriptions that answer the search being made, headings that say what the page is, internal links from the article to the service it should be feeding. Then the pages that do not exist yet, one service at a time with its own URL. Every change is logged with its before and its after, and every change we make is reversible — which is what lets us move without asking permission for each one.
03
Measure monthly, without the brand
One report a month, on a full calendar month, always against the same starting point and always with your brand name out of the numbers. It says what moved, what did not, and what we did that month with the before and after of each change. When a number looks good for a reason that is not our work, the report says so — a figure you cannot trust is worse than no figure, because you make decisions on it.
03 — Qué incluye
The work itself
Not a list of everything SEO can mean. These are the pieces we actually run, in the order they tend to pay off.
Titles, descriptions and headings
The cheapest work with the shortest feedback loop, and the first place we look when a page ranks and does not get clicked. Rewritten against the search that is actually bringing the impressions, never against a keyword tool.
Technical and indexing
Canonicals, redirects, the sitemap and robots, structured data, and deciding which pages should be in the index at all. Dull, invisible, and the reason the rest of the work is allowed to count.
A page per service, with its own URL
One document, one promise, one search it is trying to win. It is the structural change that lets a site compete for more than one term, and the one most sites are missing entirely.
Content that answers a real question
Written because a search exists and nothing on the site answers it, not on a monthly quota. Each piece links back to the service it should be feeding, which is the half that usually gets skipped.
The Google listing and the searches with a city in them
On a search with a place attached, the block of businesses sits above every website on the page, and your Google Business Profile — not your site — is what feeds it. We work the listing, the categories and the services it declares, and we make the address and phone number identical everywhere they appear, because a listing that disagrees with the site it points to is the most common reason a local business loses a search it should own.
Reporting with your brand taken out
A monthly report on non-branded impressions, clicks and positions, against a fixed starting point, with every change we made that month and its before and after. Including the months where the honest answer is that nothing moved.
04 — Alcance
Where this stops and the other service starts
This page is about ranking in Google: a position in a list of results, and the click that may or may not follow it. Appearing inside an answer written by ChatGPT, Perplexity or an AI Overview is a different mechanism — there is no position there, only whether the model names you. We sell the two separately because they are measured separately, and because an agency billing them as one thing is not telling you which of the two it is doing.

05 — FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How do you measure whether SEO is working?
On the searches that are not your own name. Total organic traffic is the number most reports lead with, and it is the easiest one to make go up: run a campaign, get mentioned somewhere, and more people type your brand into Google and land on your site. That is real traffic, but SEO did not earn it. We report non-branded impressions, non-branded clicks and the positions behind them, separately from everything your brand name brings in. It is a smaller number and a slower one. It is also the only one that answers whether the work did anything.
Is SEO the same as getting cited in ChatGPT?
No, and we keep them as two services on purpose. SEO decides where your page sits in a list of results that someone still has to click. Getting cited inside an AI answer is a different mechanism with a different measurement: there is no position, there is only whether the model names you or does not. The work overlaps — both reward a page that answers the question plainly — but the two are not the same deliverable and an agency that bills them as one is hiding which of the two it is actually doing. If what you need is the second one, that is generative engine optimization, and it has its own page.
How long before I see results?
The technical and on-page work shows up in weeks, because it changes documents that are already indexed and already ranking. New content competing for a term nobody has given you yet takes months, and the honest version of that answer depends on how much authority the domain has already earned — which is the one input we cannot manufacture quickly. What you get in the first month is not a ranking: it is a written baseline of where you stand without your brand, so that whatever happens next can be compared against something.
My page is already number one and nobody clicks it. Why?
Because position and click are two different decisions. Ranking first gets you shown; the title and the description decide whether anyone goes in. The pattern we see most often is a page built as a guide — the title says «complete guide», the description promises to explain something — ranking first for a search that wanted a place to go, not something to read. Nothing in the title tells the person they are in the right city or looking at the right business. That is a rewrite of two fields, it is reversible, and it is usually the cheapest win in the whole account.
Do you need access to my site to do this?
For the audit, no: everything in it is read from the outside, plus read-only access to your Search Console so we are using your data and not a third-party estimate. To implement, yes — and the access stays yours. Your Search Console, your analytics, your CMS and your Google listing are in your accounts from day one, with us added as a user. If you leave, you leave with the property, the history and the work inside it.
Will you tell me if SEO is the wrong investment for me?
Yes, and it happens. SEO is a bad fit when the demand does not exist as a search — a brand-new category nobody is typing yet — or when the buying window is so short that waiting months for a position means losing the quarter. In the first case the answer is content and demand creation; in the second it is paid media, which buys the position today at a price. The audit says which of the three your situation actually is, including when the answer is that you should not be paying us for this.
What does local SEO change that regular SEO does not?
On a search with a place attached — anything with a city in it, or typed from a phone nearby — the first thing Google shows is not a list of websites. It is a block of businesses with their ratings, their hours and their distance, and that block is fed by your Google Business Profile, not by your site. Which means a site can be technically perfect and lose the search to a competitor with worse pages and a better-maintained listing. Local SEO is the work on the listing, on the address and phone number being identical everywhere they appear, and on the pages that have to match it.

Start with the baseline, not the plan
Give us read access to your Search Console and we come back with where you stand without your brand name: the searches you appear in and nobody clicks, the pages answering the wrong search, and what we would change first. If the honest answer is that your money belongs in ads rather than in search, that is the answer you get.
